The Alliance Against Seclusion and Restraint is looking for volunteers in Canada

We are making some progress in Canada on the issues of seclusion and restraint. Recent national media coverage and public discussion are making a difference, but we need your help! We currently have only one Canadian volunteer, Chantelle Hyde, on our team. Chantelle has been working hard, meeting with public officials, and informing them about this heartbreaking human rights issue that occurs across Canada. We would love to meet with other Canadians who are passionate about this issue. Are you interested in joining The Alliance Against Seclusion and Restraint volunteer team? If so, please contact us.

You can see Chantelle and her daughter Lily’s story in this recent 2 Part CTV W5 news documentary- “Restrained”. They appear in Part 2.
