Initiating, Implementing, Influential Restorative Justice on Campus: A Service-Learning Project Proposal
Keiana Harden is a first-generation graduate of California State University, Sacramento. Her academic research and professional interests center on restorative justice, a passion deeply informed by her own socioeconomic experiences growing up and witnessing how systems often failed her and her siblings. These experiences motivated her to pursue work that creates meaningful change for youth and families. Her education has provided her not only with knowledge and opportunity, but also with a sense of freedom and purpose she had long hoped to achieve. She is currently focused on supporting at-risk youth in staying connected to educational and employment opportunities. Outside of her professional life, she is excited to soon become a first-time mother this August, alongside her husband, their two dogs, and their cat.
