Venkata is pursuing a master’s in public health degree in Epidemiology and Maternal Child Health at Saint Louis University. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Audiology Speech and Language Pathology and has six years of experience as a Clinical Audiologist and Speech-Language Pathologist in India. Passionate about public health, Venkata is dedicated to improving healthcare access and outcomes for mothers and children. He aims to address key public health issues such as child mortality, child nutrition, substance abuse in pregnant women, and healthcare disparities. In the future, he intends to develop and implement effective health policies and programs to make a significant impact in these areas. I hope to learn more about investigating the impact of not having access to robust communication modalities, such as AAC, for non-speaking students. Beyond his academic and professional pursuits, he enjoys cooking Indian cuisine, with biriyani as his specialty. He also has a keen interest in photography and technology.
